You can also create fully custom templates with your own sections and items to fit any inspection type.
Yes. Go to Settings → Report Templates and tap "Create Template." You can add sections and items, reorder them, and tailor the template to the type of property or inspection you do. Custom templates appear alongside the defaults when creating a new inspection.
Open any inspection and tap the "Report" button in the top-right corner. InspectDesk generates a formatted PDF on the spot. From there, tap "Share" to send it via email, AirDrop, Messages, or any other sharing method available on your device.
Yes. When you capture or attach a photo to a finding, you can add arrows and text annotations to highlight the issue. Annotated photos are included in the final PDF report.
All data — inspections, photos, client details, templates — is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on our servers. Your data belongs entirely to you.
Go to Settings → Backup & Offload. You can export individual inspections as backup files that include all data and photos. These files can be saved to iCloud Drive, Files, or any other storage location. You can import them back on the same device or a different one.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, deleting the app will remove your inspection data. We strongly recommend exporting backups regularly through Settings → Backup & Offload before deleting or switching devices.
